Ausfilm Week returned for the second time in 2024 a Fall event, continuing our mission of connecting Australian film and television professionals and US production leaders.

Based in Los Angeles, the week of invite-only industry events facilitated meaningful connections through curated mixers and networking sessions. Members had the opportunity to engage in person with influential figures from the US screen industry, fostering collaborations and promoting Australia’s unique advantages as a filming destination.

The event brought together a diverse range of stakeholders, including representatives from the Australian Government’s Office for the Arts, the Consul-General in Los Angeles, and state screen agencies – highlighting Australia’s breathtaking locations and competitive incentives. Ausfilm’s membership was also well-represented, encompassing major studios, post-production facilities, VFX and animation experts, as well as financial, legal, and travel service providers.

A highlight of the week was the premiere of Ausfilm’s latest showreel, celebrating the outstanding work of our members over the past year and demonstrating the country’s exceptional creative and technical capabilities:
