Screenwest offers a minimum 10% incentive to footloose productions with a Qualifying Western Australia expenditure (QWAE) of AU$3.5 million and up to 20% for post-production undertaken in WA.

The Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive is designed to attract high profile, market driven footloose screen productions to Western Australia.
The incentive offers production funding of a minimum of 10% of the project’s Qualifying Western Australian Expenditure.
This fund is open to all Australian and international producers, production companies and studios with screen projects that:
The incentive can be combined with the Australian Government’s Location Offset, Location Incentive, PDV Offset and Producer Offset.

The Western Australian Regional Screen Fund is designed to attract screen projects to undertake production in regional Western Australia.
The fund offers production funding up to a maximum of AU$2million, based on a 2:1 ratio of Qualifying Western Australian Regional Expenditure (the project’s regional spend must be at least double the amount of funding received under this program).
This fund is open to projects that meet the following minimum expenditure thresholds:
The fund can be combined with the WA PDV Incentive and Screenwest’s Scripted Production Fund. Note: this fund cannot be combined with the Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive.

The Western Australian Post-Production, Digital & Visual Effects (PDV) incentive is designed to attract screen projects to carry out PDV work in Western Australia, regardless of where it was filmed.

This incentive is open to projects that meet a minimum PDV Qualifying Western Australian Expenditure threshold of AU$100,000.
The WA PDV incentive can be combined with the Western Australian Regional Screen Fund, and complements the Australian Government’s Producer Offset, Location Offset and PDV Offset streams.
